Information to support application for funding:
- OBJECTIVES AND DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT
- FUNDING REQUESTED $...........................
Applicants should also endeavour to provide information on the following issues;
- Confirmation that results of the project will be made public
- An anticipated financial analysis i.e. Cost/Benefit
- Indication of volumes of glass likely to be processed in the future.
- Tonnes of glass available in the location of the project
- Any environmental benefits additional to the use of the glass
- Time lines for completion of the project
- Potential commercialisation of the process
- Applicant’s own investment in the project
- PR value to all parties
- What criteria will the applicant use to gauge success of the project
It should be noted that the objective of the programme is to develop alternative volume uses for waste glass that can be adopted locally. The fund is not intended to finance the shortfalls resulting from uneconomic collection programmes.
