The Glass Packaging Forum

Glass bottles   “creating opportunities
for innovative uses
of waste container glass”

The Glass Packaging Forum – (GPF) is a non-profit organization, which aims to ensure the ongoing performance of glass as environmentally acceptable packaging.

The Forum was formally established in April 2006, in response to the increase in glass recovery which exceeded the demand from its only existing market at the time i.e. reuse in glass making, and to support and deliver on the objectives, commitments and targets of the
New Zealand Packaging Accord 2004.

We have come to the end of our "Class Rap Name the Crusher" competition where 9 to 15 year olds had to write lyrics about glass recycling. CONGRATULATIONS to our winners!! Thank you for being part of raising awareness of the issues regarding recycling and of the uses for recycled glass. Well done!!!
